Seaview.

Seaview is a coastal family residence in Blairgowrie on the Mornington Peninsula, built to support a life of travel, entertaining and working from home, and to gather the family for Christmas and the summer holidays. Entertaining led the brief, with the home asked to bring family and friends together across the indoor and outdoor living spaces. It needed to feel welcoming and adaptable, moving easily from everyday living and remote work to larger occasions and seasonal gatherings. Comfort, atmosphere and peace of mind mattered just as much, with simple control of lighting, climate and entertainment, and a strong security presence for confidence while away. The brief was for a home that feels connected, inviting and effortless to enjoy.

Baillie delivered a fully integrated Control4 platform spanning lighting, audio, climate, security, fireplace control and entertainment. The home was designed around entertaining, with a dedicated surround sound media room alongside multi-zone audio through the internal living spaces and around the pool, for everything from large gatherings to relaxed summer afternoons. Lighting was programmed to move naturally through the day, with scenes shaping the atmosphere from everyday living to evening entertaining. Climate and the gas fireplace sit on the same platform, so comfort can be set at the touch of a button, and a robust security system holds visibility, remote access and peace of mind while travelling. The home adapts effortlessly to family life, entertaining and travel, and stays comfortable, connected and secure year-round.
