What it is.

A home cinema is the room the whole house gathers in. Reference-grade surround sound pairs with the latest 4K projection and AcoustiWeave screens that disappear into the architecture, so the picture fills the wall and the speakers stay out of sight. One press dims the lights, closes the blinds and starts the film.

How Baillie does it.

Baillie builds dedicated cinemas with starlight ceilings and immersive surround, and hides cinemas inside living rooms where a dedicated room is not on the table. Both feel like the movies. The whole experience runs from the same Control4 system as the rest of the home.

  • 4K projection on screens that vanish into the wall
  • Immersive surround and starlight ceilings
  • One press to dim, close the blinds and play

Designed, installed and supported by one studio.

Designed as a room

Acoustics, sightlines and seating.

A real cinema is more than a big screen. We design the acoustics, the sightlines and the seating so every seat sounds and looks right, in a dedicated room or a living space.

Picture and sound

4K projection, immersive audio.

The latest 4K projection meets surround sound calibrated to the room, with AcoustiWeave screens and concealed speakers so the hardware never competes with the film.

One press to play

The room sets itself.

A movie scene dims the lighting, closes the blinds, lowers the screen and powers the sources, so the room is ready the moment you sit down.

Common questions

Home cinema, answered.

Do I need a dedicated room for a home cinema?
No. We build dedicated cinemas where the space allows, and we also hide full cinema systems inside living rooms with retractable screens and concealed speakers, so the experience suits the home you have.
What makes a cinema different from a big TV?
A cinema is designed as a complete room: calibrated projection and surround sound, controlled lighting and acoustics, and seating placed for the best view, all run by one scene. The result is immersion a single screen cannot match.
Can the cinema run on the same system as the rest of the home?
Yes. The cinema is part of the home's Control4 system, so it shares the same app and keypads and ties into the lighting, blinds and climate around it.
