The vision.
Madden Street is a family residence in Kew, designed around a single idea: the home should look after itself. The owners wanted to lock up, drive away and think about nothing. The brief led with security and keyless entry, backed by a network strong enough to carry every other system in the house. Nothing was to announce itself. The technology had to disappear into the house, leaving only the thing the owners actually asked for, which is peace of mind.
The experience.
The front door opens to a touch, so there is no key to find, hand over or lose. Keyless entry keeps a clear record of who came and went, which matters when the cleaner, the dog walker and the in-laws all have their own arrival. Cameras cover the approach and the perimeter, with the alarm on the same app, checked from a hotel room as easily as the hallway. Enterprise-grade Wi-Fi runs the length of the property, from the study to the far end of the garden, because everything else in the house leans on it. One Control4 backbone carries security, entry, lighting and climate together. The hardware sits flush and out of sight. Nothing blinks, nothing beeps. The house holds the line, and the owners stop checking.
